No competition, even though I have never had Ruination it has to be better than Bud.

I also do NOT consider Bud a lager, as lagers should be stored for several weeks before sale, not rushed out of the factory before they have had a chance develop flavour.

Depends on your point of view.
If you’re drinking specifically to get blitzed, the the Bud would be a better choice. You can drink lots of those without any trouble.
However, if you;re drinking for the taste, then IMO the Ruination (one of my top 2 or 3 favorite beers ever) would be the way to go.
The Ruination is a very big, very hoppy beer. It’s higher in alcohol than the Bud, but it;s tough to drink more than a couple 12-oz or a bomber (22-oz) at a sitting.

Not a great beer but in most cases/times a better choice is Stone Ruination IPA.

Technically Budweiser is lager for a few weeks but only a real beer man knows this.
