Dude, you obviously have absolutely no idea about how this ad and other ads like it work. It’s just like the Carlton Draught “It’s a big ad” ad. Basically, it’s purely for the sake of showing it. Everyone’s talking about it and looks forwards to watching it when it comes on the box. Their market audience, surprise surprise, is people who already drink. Beer companies seldom produce ads aimed at non-drinkers. It’s all about the brand name, and what brand the people watching will want to drink.
actually they are in the Orchestra so yes they are music nerds..
because they have to know all the different notes and shit
thats there job to know them and play them
anyways i love this ad!!
Yes, after I first saw it, I was thinking that it was computerized sound or something and they were pretending to play it. But I guess it is real. Amazing. And expensive to get all those musicians for so long. I wonder if their sales improved.
Shame that it’s a carbon copy of an Australian Kellogg’s Sultana Bran Crunch ad from about a year ago, directed by Roger Tompkins and shot in Aukland. Did you photo-copy the storyboard and paste in bottles over the cereal bowls?

Pure genius. I am actually doing this for my year eight assessment in music.
We only have about 4 or 5 people doing it. It wont sound as good as those guys did it, but we will try.
Our version is actually a modified version of “The Magnificent Seven” theme song.
But, you guys did good, keep it up fella’s.
Cheers.

That bottle blow at the very start wasn’t a C. It’s F.
But damn the ad was awesome, but I seriously didn’t know it was the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra! :O That just makes it even better!
