It is one of those oddities that I have found, I have found the same thing with milk drinking it out of the carton. It tastes better out of a glass or the bottle when it came in bottles.
Nothing leeches into the beer or milk, I think we somehow taste the metal which spoils the taste.
glass protects contents better than metal. specially dark glass, green or amber. think coca cola in a can vs bottle. or olive oil in a can vs a glass bottle glass always taste better
CLOSE. Check this out. The metal does not dissolve into the Lager, what happens is that the Lager chemically reacts to the metal changing the taste to a slight degree. I want to say that the taste is a little shy of being tinny. Copper or caste does no cause this reaction but they are to expensive. How about a hardwood keg of maybe TWENTY GALS? Glass tops all when thinking of cost

typically most canned beers/lager/ales test poor in a can. Taste best from glass/bottles or pewter mugs
