It may be hard you might have to find the imported, Here in Canada we have in bottles, cans and at some of the British style pubs, I know that is a sacralidge when it is a fine Scottish lager.
My family is from all over the UK, so I enjoy all the brews from acrossed the pond, lagers, ales and stouts.
I live in USA in the state of OHIO. I read the above message left in 2011 but I don’t get into Canada and tennent’s lager my brother loves. He is fighting cancer and this is the only time he has ever asked something of me and that is to help him get some tennent’s legar. My brother has always been there for me so I want to do something for him. I would like to get 2 cases to hold him over for a while. He can’t drink a lot of it but he likes one from time to time. So I believe 2 cases will last for a while. Can anyone tell me if there is a place in Ohio to purchase it.

I have located it at Providence Beer Market in mt. Juliet Tennessee and at Vulcan Beverage in Birmingham, Alabama. We have searched for this lager for 3 years after a visit to Edinburgh. Honestly went to Canada one weekend just to purchase a beer.
In Hampton, Va there is a restaurant “Park Lane Tavern” that serve Tennent on draft.. They also serve the best Fish and Chips. The restaurant also serves draft beer from U.S. and different European countries.
Unless something has changed over the past two decades, Tennents only exports a Heineken/Tennents blend to the States after the company was bought out by Heineken. If you want the real deal, you’re going to have to go overseas.
Okay, so I would be willing to drive long distances to purchase Tennent’s… But no way would I drive down the street for a Tennent’s/Heineken blend. Who in the bloody depths of Heineken corporate headquarters thought that was a good idea?
i work with distributors…. years ago Tennents used to be distributed thru anheiser busch, they lost the distribution rights. it was my understanding that they were going to find another company to allow to distribute. I haven’t found that has happened. ( oct 2021 ) I’ve just emailed them to check in.

My and my brother had a really fun New Year over a decade ago drinking Tennent’s Extra in the Rose & Crown Pub in Epcot Center.
Keep saying we’ll go bak some day, but what we really want is some Tennent’s. I read your post and started searching, and found this link:
According to this, a Beer store in Columbus, Ohio has Tennent’s!
Stinks for my out in NY, but my brother is in Cleveland and is going to try to get down Columbus way to pick some up.

Why is it such a big deal trying to find Tennents Beer?
While I was in Scotland I discovered Tennents, and can’t find it anywhere in the States.
I now live in Louisiana and would really like to find an outlet for beer.
