Ummm, Polish beer is GREAT!!! Zywiec is best IMO, but hard to find. It has a better flavor, but its more bitter at the same time. Higher alcohol content as well. Only down side is that its hard to find. I have to go to Milwaukee for mine.
This particular brand has pale lager and baltic porter. I’m a porter guy myself tho. Gotta love dark beer.
I would recommend just about any beer from the following breweries. They are pretty widely distributed and should be easy to find at any good liquor/beer store:
-Dogfish Head
-Rogue
-Stone (How about Arrogant Bastard? It’s an ale, not a lager, but a great-tasting beer with a great name.)
-G. Schneider & Sohn (Aventinus Weizenbock is excellent)
-Unibroue
-Allagash
-Victory
