For example if a pub server big tankards that were bigger than a pint, would this be illegal? Thanks.

No cause i’m from the UK and i drink cider . you can drinks as much as you like aslong you dont drive !!!!

I don’t think there is a limit, however they have to serve the exact amount that is advertised (you can’t advertise ‘1 pint’ then give someone more or less that that)
