How can I get Michelob Honey Lager in an area it’s not sold?

I used to enjoy Michelob Honey Lager when I lived in other states, but I’m in southern Alabama now and I can’t find it anywhere. Any idea how I can get it? Some other questions suggested distributors, but I don’t have enough money to buy large quantities of it. I’ve asked a couple of liquor stores if they could order it and the owners acted annoyed and were of no help.

I’d recommend just looking for a different honey beer. There are several brands available at most liquor stores, they pretty much always have “honey” somewhere on the label.

I’d suggest you try asking someone in charge of purchasing beer at a grocery store to see (1.) if it’s available through their distributor and (2.) if they’d mind ordering it for you. If they give you a hard time, simply ask for the name of the Bud distributor and then check the company’s website for yourself. Or, if you have a local watering hole, perhaps talk to the bartender there.

If all else fails, try J.W. Dundee’s Honey Brown (assuming it’s available) or else check to see if Abita Beer Co. sells something similar (I know that beer’s available).
