A good microbrew similar to Sam Adams Boston Lager?

In: FAQ

Here’s the deal: my father adores Sam Adams Boston Lager. However, I feel as though he needs a change of pace. He sincerely dislikes anything too hoppy (like an IPA) or anything too dark (stouts or brown ales) and he isn’t to fond of the belgian whites or witbiers (like blue moon). I just need a good lager, similar to a Sam Adams, that I can give him for his birthday. Any ideas or recommendations?

Go to a 6 pack shop where you an mix and match 6 packs and look for lagers. If you happen to be in one of the lucky few states that import Kona Beer from Hawaii, look for Longboard Lager. Other suggestions, Dos Equis lager is pretty good but he may like Dos Equis Amber better, its alot smoother.
