Why are a large number of lager companies in the UK starting to make 4% lager! Who on earth wants to drink it?

26 Jan 2011I understand the points made. What I mean is Why are they making it? And what has started it all off? Ok, to clarify – Real UK Stella Artois is 5.2%, Becks is 5%, Grolsch is 5%. Why are they making weaker versions!!!

Why is my homemade lager flat?

7 Jan 2011I have brewed it exactly as the instruction said, its clear and tastes ok but is flat. Any idea what went wrong or what I can do to get it right? I have not bottled the lager, I have sythoned it into a keg which has a tap for dispensing the beer
