New Belgium Brewing Co. of Fort Collins, most famous for its Fat Tire beer, is the third-largest craft brewer in the country and the seventh-largest brewer overall, according to a report released by The Brewers Association.

Anheuser-Busch Inc., which also has a plant in Fort Collins but is based in St. Louis, is the No. 1 brewer in the United States.

The ranking is based on 2010 beer sales by volume. The largest craft brewer in the United States is Boston Beer Co., which produces the Samuel Adams brand.

Several other Colorado breweries made the list, including Fort Collins brewer Odell Brewing Co., which produces popular beers such as 90 Shilling, and Oskar Blue Brewery, based in Longmont, which ranked No. 33 and No. 36 on the craft brewer’s list respectively.
